This course is designed for the amateur metal artist to create a pre-designed metal art project to take home and display proudly. Students will learn the basics of safety, gas metal arc welding, metal prep and finishing, and metal art design.

This course is a continuation of Beginning Art Welding/Art Welding 1. Students will learn and apply more welding techniques to create a piece of metal art that they can proudly display. Students must have completed Beginning Art Welding/Art Welding 1 in a current or previous term or have recent welding experience.
