The School Health Collaborative is designed to equip Rock County school staff with essential knowledge and skills to support student health needs in the school setting. This educational series provides practical demonstrations and guidance in four key areas of school-based health care:
Diabetes Management – Understanding symptoms, monitoring, and student care protocols.
Seizure Response – Recognizing seizure types and delivering safe and appropriate interventions.
Medication Administration – Best practices for safely storing, documenting, and administering student medications.
Anaphylaxis and Asthma – Identifying and responding to respiratory emergencies, including the use of EpiPens and inhalers.
This course promotes confidence and consistency in school health response, fostering a safer environment for all students.
