Summer-Motorcycle Rider Basic - EC

$30734

Basic Rider Course (BRC) The Motorcycle Basic Rider Couse teaches real world skills and strategies as a foundation for safe motorcycling. Each class is 16 hours and consists of approximately 4 hours for the online course and 12 hours of actual range riding.  Your instructor(s) are trained and certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and approved by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.  At the end of the class, you will complete a riding skills evaluation. Upon successful completion of this class, you will receive your MSF Completion Card (the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Skills Test Waiver form).  At the Wisconsin DMV, you will NOT need to take an over the road test but you will need to pass an additional written test to obtain an “M” endorsement.

NOTE: If you are a resident of Illinois, please make sure your local DMV accepts our completion cards before registering.

Please choose a class at least two days out so that you have time to read & sign your Motorcycle waiver as well as complete the 4-5 hour E-course.

Students MUST be able to balance and ride a bicycle to be able to take this class.

Basic Rider Course - EC requires the online MSF Basic e-Course which must be completed within 30 DAYS PRIOR to the start date of your Basic Motorcycle Riding class. Please bring either a copy of this or a screenshot.

You must bring your current driver's license.  You must wear a DOT approved motorcycle helmet with a face shield/eye protection.  NO half-helmets will be allowed for training!  Wear long jeans, long sleeved shirt or jacket, full-fingered gloves, and over-the-ankle footwear.  Boots must have laces or a retention system to prevent boots from sliding off foot. (Cowboy boots and canvas boots are not accepted.)

Students without proper riding attire will be asked to leave without a refund.

Even if it rains, plan on riding. We recommend rain gear, change of clothes and a towel.  In cold weather, dress in warm layers.  Classes and range exercises may exceed scheduled times due to weather, range delays, student questions, etc.

Motorcycles are provided by us.

You must be on time for class as they start promptly at the scheduled time. If you are late you must repay and re-register to take the course.
